A NOTE FROM JAN-MAREE

My earliest and fondest childhood memories were sitting beside my father at the piano listening to him play and rehearse for the next “Old time dance “ he was playing on saturday night.

My mum would be sweetly singing all the wonderful tunes word perfect and notes full of love and happiness. These were the songs that inspired me, the passionate and heartfelt Tunes of 1920-1950s.

The songs of Vera Lynn, Frank Sinatra, and Edith Piaf show tunes from the wonderful Gershwin, Irving Berlin and more. Then there were the wonderful three-part harmonies of the Andrew Sisters whom I simply adored.

I had a dream that one day I would bring all these wonderful songs together and create them once more, along with other wonderful shows from the past. Gaining my LTCL in singing led me down many wonderful roads of Performing Arts.

I have had the privilege of being involved in professional opera, musical theatre and choral events & performances. I’ve been a vocal teacher and a Musical Director but still wanted to follow my dream and produce a vocal trio.

Life brings people together for a reason - and I found my two missing links in Lizzie and Chloe. That’s where 3DeciBelles was born. All proficient singers and experienced performers individually, our voices blend perfectly to recreate hits from the past in a unique and memorable way.
